1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using RiverBank ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RiverBank is a poker game tracking service that syncs with your Gmail account to automatically parse Venmo transaction emails, identify poker buy-ins and cash-outs, and provide analytics on your poker games. The Service is provided "as is" for your personal use.

3. User Accounts

To use RiverBank, you must:

  • Have a valid Google account
  • Grant permission for the Service to access your Gmail for Venmo emails
  • Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use RiverBank only for lawful purposes. You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service to track or monitor other people's transactions without permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that sends more requests than a human could reasonably produce
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Use the Service for commercial gambling operations

5. Gmail Access and Data Usage

By using RiverBank, you grant us permission to access your Gmail account specifically to:

  • Read emails from venmo@venmo.com
  • Parse transaction information from those emails
  • Store parsed transaction data in our secure database

You can revoke this access at any time through your Google account settings. RiverBank will not access any emails other than those from Venmo.

6. Intellectual Property

RiverBank and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by RiverBank and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Accuracy of transaction parsing or statistics
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement

RiverBank is a tool for tracking recreational poker games. We do not guarantee the accuracy of parsed transaction data and recommend verifying important information independently.

8. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL RIVERBANK, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
  • Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted through the Service
  • Any errors or omissions in transaction data or analytics

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RiverBank and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Gambling Disclaimer

RiverBank is designed for tracking recreational home poker games. We do not facilitate, endorse, or promote illegal gambling. Users are responsible for ensuring their poker games comply with local laws and regulations. RiverBank assumes no liability for any illegal gambling activities.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe:

  • Violates these Terms of Service
  • Is harmful to other users, us, or third parties
  • Violates applicable laws or regulations

You may terminate your account at any time by revoking Gmail access and contacting us to request account deletion.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
